I'm not afraid to start over.

Recently, I decided to go back to school. I felt like it was time to better my education, so I'm going to be studying something that had nothing to do with my previous degree. While many around me are speculating whether or not I can make it, I'm not worried. I think when you put your mind to something, it can happen. I've done it before when I proved that a girl can be good at Shaolin Kung Fu/Wushu/Chinese Martial Arts, and I can do it again.

I know I have to start over on a clean slate (sort of) by starting with pre-requisites, but if it's necessary, then I'll take the class. Many people get discouraged after graduating from school because student loan debts are rising, and job opportunities are falling, so most steer clear from returning to school, but it's never too late to go back to school. This time, I believe that I'm doing something that I want to do, not what someone else wants me to do, so I'll definitely give that 100% (not that my previous degree wasn't what I wanted to do because it was as well, but the events that followed were not what I expected).

I hope many of you out there who still reads my blog post know that you should always pursue a career that you want, not what your family wants or not what others tell you to do. Only then will you be happy with your choice (hopefully). Haha. :P
